- Nina writes, acts, directs, and produces theater, film, & special events. Her professional career began at five as an actress & print model. Graduating from Los Angeles City College’s Theater Academy, Nina has won numerous awards & scholarships for her scholastic & dramatic abilities. She's been on TV, several indie movies & over a dozen plays. Active in the community, Nina has ten years experience organizing the youth area at events such as, the African Marketplace & Cultural Faire and the Leimert Park Village Book Festival. Nina also produced & co-directed a 30-minute doc called, "Exit Strategies" profiling ex-gang members who've successfully exited out of gangs. Made possible by a grant from the BHERC Fights Back With Film Program, the film has screened at the 2006 Hollywood Black Film Festival, BHERC’s Film Marketplace at Raleigh Studios, Audobon Jr. High School and is currently used as a tool for at-risk youth in various gang prevention programs around the US.
